How to Watch PowerPoint on Barnes & Noble Nook HD Tablet

Nook HD tablet
Barnes & Noble(BN), the second largest online bookstore in US, announced a 7'' tablet called Nook HD on September 27. As a competitor of Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD, this device is called "the best tablet for families" with tons of movies, magazines and apps.

As an Android based tablet, you're able to install various of applications to the device. Playing games, watching movies, chatting with friends on SNS, learning with kids, etc. How about watching PowerPoint on Nook HD? On the official Nook Apps webpage, I found 2 office apps: Quickoffice and OfficeSuite, both priced $14.99. Besides installing these office apps, is there any way to view PPT on the device? Yes, we can convert the PowerPoint files to video format and put them into the tablet. How to do? Let's have a look.

We recommend this PPT to Video Converter if you have a windows based PC. This software is free download and convenient to operate. With a few clicks, the PowerPoint files can be easily converted to videos. Now let me show you the process.

Step 1: Launch the converter and import files.
Download, install and then launch Moyea PPT to Video converter. You can see the user interface with simple guides. Click the Add button and select the PowerPoint files from your hard drive. The converter supports batch conversion so that you're able to add multiple files at the same time.

Step 2: Setup output video format.
Click the Profile drop down menu. A list pops up and shows options with different formats and resolutions of output video. We can select "Nook Tablet" option. As the Nook HD is a new model, in order to watch videos on the device with best performance, we need to setup its parameters.
Advanced settings
Click the Settings button, a new Profile window pops up. You're free to setup the parameters here, such as Video Codec, Quality, etc. As the official specifications, the resolution of Nook HD is 1440*900, so the video size should also be the same.

Step 3: Convert PowerPoint to Video.
Click the big Start button and wait for the conversion.

Process starts. The conversion time depends on the file size and your PC's speed.

Conversion finished, a new window pops up and shows you the results.

You can check out the videos from the folder and try to play them on PC.

The last step is to put all these videos to the tablet. We know that Nook HD will be available on November 1 but this converter is suitable for most smartphones and tablets in the market. Give it a try!
