World's Thinnest Smartphone Made in China: BBK Vivo X1

Do you care about the thickness of your smartphone? And do you know which one is the thinnest phone in the world now? Well, I still remember that I had posted an article on introducing slim smartphones 2 months ago. It was said the Vivo X1 is ranked at the first place. After a longtime waiting, the Chinese manufacturer BBK finally announced this handset.

Specifications of BBK Vivo X1:

  • Size: 136.30 x 68.30 x 6.55mm
  • Weight: 145g
  • Display: 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen with 540×960 pixels resolution
  • OS: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • Processor: Dual-Core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 class processor
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Storage: 16GB (seems supports microSD expansion)
  • Camera: an 8.0MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera
  • Battery: 2,000 mAh battery
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
Besides thickness, this phone has some other features: it's equipped with high-end audio chipset from Cirrus Logic and a DTX 71 iE In-Ear headphone from Beyerdynamic, both of which provide good music playing performance.

The Vivo X1 accepts pre-order on the official website now, priced at ¥2498 (about $400).
