Story
During the periods of 1940s and '50s, six LAPD detectives attempted to keep Los Angeles free of East Coast Mafia types. They must protect the law by breaking it, taking on Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) and his gang.

Gangster Squad was originally planning to be released on September 7 last year. Affected by the 2012 Aurora shooting, this movie was bumped to a January 11, 2013 release date.
